Hot National Retailers the Key to Enhance Downtown Wheaton

Tesla.  Apple.  Shake Shack.  Shinola.  Warby Parker.  Bonobos.  The latter three names look to street locations.  Wheaton residents would crave to have these successful national retailers and restaurant over in our downtown.  Residents from outside Wheaton (Glen Ellyn, for instance) would go to Tesla in Wheaton over Oakbrook.  It’s been announced Shake Shack is expanding to Skokie by the end of the year.  In my opinion, a Shake Shake would look great in downtown Wheaton.  Wheaton residents want to stay home for successful, family-friendly retailers and restaurants.  Why go to malls in Yorktown and Oakbrook Center?  Let’s have the hot retailers come downtown to Wheaton.  I would lead the effort for City Council to work with the downtown landowners to attract them as tenants.  This is how we compete with downtown Naperville.  This is how we grow the tax base and generate revenue during these lean economic times.  If elected, I would get creative and move quickly to attract successful businesses to open up shop in downtown Wheaton.  So if you want to make this happen, please vote for Ron Almiron for City Council tomorrow, April 7th. #FamilyFirst #Wheaton #DowntownWheaton #millenials

Go With A Winner

In my day job I’ve won in the appellate court on behalf of homeowner borrowers (2013 IL App (2d) 120719), and I just won a trial fending off a $500,000 counterclaim brought against my occupational therapist client (12 CH 37797; Cook).  I’ve proven I can handle the challenges of being your independent voice on City Council.  Working together works.  This election will be close; every vote counts.  I respectfully ask that you vote for me for Councilman tomorrow, April 7th. #FamilyFirst #Wheaton

A Truly Fresh Perspective

The citizens of Wheaton can choose whether they want a truly fresh perspective on City Council, not a candidate who is part of, has been associated with, or has been appointed by the current City Council.  I am that independent voice for the working families and individuals of the City of Wheaton.  I respectfully request that you vote for me (third name listed on the ballot) for City Council on Tuesday, April 7th. #FamilyFirst #Wheaton
