Meet Ronald

Ronald A. Almiron, a resident of the City of Wheaton, first moved to DuPage County in 1997.  Married for seventeen years, he and his wife are raising their son, a fifth grader at St. Michael Parish School, in the City of Wheaton.

Practicing law for the past twenty-four years, Ronald is a successful appellate, litigation, and real estate attorney.  A seasoned community servant, he is an accomplished advocate for homeowners as well.

Ronald’s community board and other volunteer experience includes the following:
– Trustee, Treasurer/Chief Financial Officer, Wheaton Mosquito Abatement District
– Member, City of Wheaton Planning & Zoning Board
– Secretary, School Advisory Board, St. Michael Parish School
– Lector and Parishioner, St. Michael Catholic Church
– President, Waterford Place of Wheaton Condominium Association
– Advancement Co-Chair, Cub Scout Pack 134, Three Fires Council
– Parent Volunteer, Wheaton Park District Barracudas Swim Team.

Every single decision and vote Ronald has made as a board member or trustee has been nonpartisan. As the only Councilman At-Large candidate with a wealth of substantive, nonpartisan officer experience on boards in both the public and private sectors, he is extremely well-qualified to serve the Wheaton community on the Wheaton City Council.
